Facilitation Leadership
Essential skill for today's leaders
! Currently we organise all trainings only for czech-speaking audience. If you're interested, leave your e-mail and we'll let you know once we set up the terms and self-study courses for english-speaking.
How do you solve complex problems today? You come up with a solution yourself... and then assign the work to others. There's a catch. The devil is in the details. If you skip the details, sooner or later, hell will break loose. For you and for others.
- You need to gain different perspectives on the situation.
- You need to involve more specialists to enhance the quality of the solution.
- You want motivated colleagues, not puppets who just fulfill your wishes.
But it's not just that. An effective workshop doesn't happen by accident. We've had a lot of terrible workshops. Some people were bored. Some were doing other work. Some didn't even come because they didn't think it was worthwhile.
Lead the group to achieve real results.
Learn Facilitation Leadership
We have connected two worlds for you. Proven principles of workshop facilitation and the strategic framework of the Wardley Map. Because to solve complex problems, you need both.
We will cover the principles of facilitation
We will provide you with the basics of workshop leadership so that you understand group dynamics and can lead activities in the right way.
- How facilitation works
- Workshop preparation
- Workshop Leadership
- Facilitation tactics
- Challenging situations in workshops
- Online workshops
- Proven types of workshops
Workshops are about group collaboration. You create a space, let the group work, and gather the essential insights. To do this effectively, you need a solid structure.
We will change your perspective on business
We will teach you the basics of the Wardley Map strategic framework, enabling you to discuss the state of your business, project, team, or even your internal competencies.
- Introduction to Wardley Maps
- How maps can assist you
- Creating the first map
- Discussion over the map
- Examples of Wardley Maps
- Mapping in groups
- Climatic patterns
- Inertia
- Principles of a successful organization
- Strategic moves
Some time ago, I introduced the Wardley Map framework to Honza Mayer (now Managing Director CZ/SK Heureka Group). He stated: "You changed my view of the world." And that's what it's all about. Wardley Maps are challenging. At the same time, your world will never be the same again.
All this in just one day
It will be challenging, but we will manage it with ease and joy. We operate like a flipped classroom.
- You will receive self-study materials in Teachable, which you should review before the meeting. Allocate at least 4 hours for this. Write down your questions.
- We will meet intensively online for one day. We will use ZOOM and the MIRO board.
- During the meeting, we will practically go through facilitation and Wardley maps. Morning session. Lunch break. Afternoon session. Questions and answers.
- After the meeting, we will gradually address your questions. The answers will be recorded and added to Teachable.
The training is led by Jan Řezáč. A group of approximately 16 participants.

Expect not a webinar, but intensive work and personalized attention from the instructors
Don't expect a lecture where you can check Facebook or handle emails. Set aside time and a quiet space, make yourself some tea, and feel free to stay in your comfy clothes. The training is intensive, with each activity seamlessly following the next.

Frequently Asked Questions
I've been on both Strategic Thinking and Strategic Design. Does it make sense to go to Facilitation Leadership?
The No. Send your colleagues to training, who you want to quickly onboard to Wardley Mapping.
Does it make sense to go to Facilitation Leadership if I want to go to Strategic Thinking and Strategic Design?
Yes, if you want to verify that our approach is right for you.
Training is tomorrow, can I apply?
We don't like to say it. I'd rather not. Give yourself time to prepare. We want you to get the most out of it.
Are we really going to make it in one day?
You are experienced! One day is a marketing shorthand. You will spend half a day preparing. You write questions. One day training. You will no longer have the energy for Q&A. Then you release them from the recording, which will be like 2 hours. Then you play all the videos again. You draw other maps. And the whole thing starts to make sense to you. So, rather, 2-3 days. And then months when the training will sit down. Still better than the standard Wardley mapping learning... which, according to Simon Wardley, takes 7 years. Six years you tell yourself you should do it and the seventh you finally learn them.
Will I get a training record?
The No. We don't record training sessions. You'll be left with a MIRO bulletin board. Pre-recorded videos. Record of questions and answers. Don't plan anything for that day. You won't have the time and appetite for emails either.
Do I need any special experience?
Actually, no. You need to know how to work with a computer and learn how to work with the Zoom communication application and the Miro dashboard. We will deliver all instructions in time.
Do you also know training for companies?
Ah yes. We make non-public online training sessions tailored to your needs. Contact us for the offer.
