Lasvit creates beautiful designer glass installations in the best buildings in the world, and you can buy some of their production even at home... or on your yacht.

Two years ago, Lasvit marketing manager Tomáš Kejmar approached us to help the company with the redesign of Lasvit's global website, which already needed salt.

The main challenges of the project

  • Unfinished presentation of Lasvit brand — the site did not correspond in any way to the Dadaist concept of advertising
  • Slow web technology solution that always started with a few seconds of looking at the progress bar
  • Many target groups with different needs
  • ... and all this globally

In the Czech market today there is no agency capable of leading top job at every level from brand redesign to technology infrastructure. So we helped Lasvit put together a team that handled the job at the top level.

Lasvit first of all needed to revise the existing brand and marketing communications, so we invited Adam Hrubý that helped us give the Lasvit brand its new soul. A two-hundred-page manual was created that unifies the Lasvit brand although it does not change the logo.

In parallel with Adam's work on the brand manual, we created an assignment for Lasvit's new website:

  1. We understand the business
  2. We understand Lasvit customers
  3. We have created a prototype of a new website
  4. We tested it

It was more or less a waterfall and more there was no point at this stage to tackle. The website is built on photos and the crossed out piece can be in the graphics where what — so we iterated over the graphic designs.

The graphics must have been great. Lasvit's website had to represent the revised brand every coulem, so we listed the competition among top web graphics, which it won Jakub Sodomka with study NMDS.

Countless workshops and iterations took place on the visual side of the site before we got to the current state. Visually, the Lasvit website is a work of art -- we're not trying to sell people glasses or chandeliers. We tell about Czech glass, beauty and design.

But it's not just about graphics. A global web with a global infrastructure to operate reliably in China, the Persian Gulf, Germany and the US needs a great technological solution.

The local forgotten cell of the Inquisition helped us with this — Nehoupat that competently evaluated the qualities of future technology suppliers and selected the best — MangoWeb. He then created and launched the website.

We've had two years of thinking, researching, designing, photographing, drawing, branding, communicating, interacting, coding, programming, copywriting, campaigning, testing, analysis and workshops. And our work is far from over... but business is not waiting, so you can check out the first iteration of the site today.
