Website Testing

Some politicians feel that more COVID-19 testing means more coronavirus cases. What does this have to do with your site? More than you think.

We encounter the same scenario repeatedly. The company gets a website built. He ticks off the imaginary checkbox in the plan -- the site is nice and to their liking, so it's cool. And nothing goes on with it... until the time when someone stops liking it and goes to redesign itself again.

Does your website work?

And how sure are you of that? Part of people are guided by intuition -- we have a website, it looks good, so it's OK. Every once in a while the section looks into analytics on the development of traffic. In times of growth, this was enough. But today? Today, businesses need the web to bring them money or savings. But that won't happen by itself.

Our long term goal is to help you get the good feeling out of your website. Not because we like to wallow in things that don't work. The web is your key marketer and in the case of the second wave corona will be even more important.

If you haven't tested your site in the last year, you can be sure it contains critical issues.

Test him!

One of the most effective tools for web shifting is User testing. It usually consists of assigning specific tasks to people on the web, they try to fulfill them, and you observe them and look for trouble spots.

User testing from the agency costs CZK 50,000 or more (much more). So we thought — how about we create a platform where people quickly test the most crucial parts of their site and come away with specific modifications that they can implement in no time?

Last week, this experiment actually took place at online web testing workshop. On the first day, participants tested each other's sites. The next day, they devised specific modifications.

Online User Testing

What did the participants come across?

  • People had trouble knowing what the company was doing
  • They didn't understand why they chose the company.
  • They did not understand how to choose the right product
  • They don't understand how the service works
  • Unable to order
  • They skipped key information
  • They moved around the web completely disoriented
  • ...

Which is normal! The websites of the participants were not tested, so they contained errors. We've seen it on hundreds of testing sites. We can see this on our own website — we too have received a number of suggestions for improvement. It's not about how creative you have designers -- if they don't test their own work, then there are flaws on it.

What do the participants say about the workshop?

I know that the post-Covid era is not conducive to investment in marketing. The meeting today costs 5,900 CZK per site. You can take the workshop five times and still not reach the agency price for testing. Plus, there may be more of you at one computer. If I compare the price of the course and what it brought us, the benefit was far, far greater and I would definitely go for it again.
