Digital Design in 2025 by The State of UX in 2025? Dark to dystopian. I read the report as follows:

1 ️ ⃣ Common corporate UX/UI designer is a documentary maker. He draws other people's decisions using the Figma tool. Flocks of boxers in corporate colours. This is going to be done reliably by AI within a few years, so he's a little depressed. It doesn't go on like this.

2 ️ ⃣ But no one will let him go to the managers' table. He has neither the know-how nor the confidence Other people who are already sitting there. After all, they are used to the fact that an ordinary designer draws their ideas nicely. And those ideas are getting more and more corporate-sociopathic. Commitment. Interaction counts. Exploiting anything anywhere. We measure everything, otherwise it cannot be controlled.

3 ️ ⃣ Anyway, an ordinary designer in this case does not understand that have fun with others, and understand THEIR view of the world is his job. Somewhat autistically, he returns to Figma as an old acquaintance. At the same time, Figma is working to draw as little as possible... thanks to AI-generated apps and websites. It doesn't go on like this.

4 ️ ⃣ Pixel-perfect websites or apps already in 2025 in US corporations They don't care about anyone at all. Except for our designer. Everyone else is handled by automation. AL. Speed. WHIP. Research still doesn't fly. Not that an ordinary designer can do it in any way. But he read about him.

It doesn't go on like this.

Whining that the world is cruel and should want more precisely placed colored boxers. The world really doesn't care about the suffering of well-paid white collar workers. Us. Designers.

And I'm thinking... it's about time.

Almost no one needs cartoonists and scroll boxers. Almost everyone needs to have good ideas. Good ideas bring money. After a while, you will find that there are not so many good ideas.

You need:

👉 Strong business orientation (we make money here)

👉 Understanding customers (they don't want a discount, they want peace of mind!)

👉 Quick verification (most ideas don't make sense)

At the same time, one person does not have these skills, so you need to grasp effective teamwork.

Some of this is a task for the designer. There's something for the manager. To be sure, we teach it all. Na Strategic Design.

The Art of a Russian Joke

Or how (some) Russians laugh at Putin's war in Ukraine. For the most part, it's dark and bitter. Like Russia.
